  • Manager of Aflið in Akureyri. Aflið is a counseling center for survivors of sexual abuse and violence.

Documentary Film

  • Produced and wrote a short documentary film about bullying called “Bullying – Hell on Earth” (Einelti – Helvíti á Jörð). See www.skodun.is/einelti.
  • This film was aired by The Icelandic National Broadcasting Service and has been distributed and shown in many schools Iceland.

Sidmennt – The Icelandic Ethical Humanist Association

  • A long time board member of Sidmennt – The Icelandic Ethical Humanist Association (www.sidmennt.is) a prominent Humanist and human rights Non-Governmental Organization founded in 1990.

  • Editor and main writer of the webzine/blog www.skodun.is since 1999.

Aðstandendafélag aldraðra (Relatives of the Elderly Organization)

  • Founding member of “Relatives of the Elderly Organization” (Aðstandendafélagi aldraðra) and was webmaster for their first website (www.hjaafa.is).

Politics

  • Former editor of www.politik.is and www.kreml.is (Political webzines).
  • Board member of the Social Democratic Youth in 1998. Chairman in 1999.
